version 5.1.0 (27830.0612) for Windows

Changes to existing features

  • Unmute all for meetings of 200 participants or fewer
The meeting host can now unmute all participants for meetings with 200 participants or fewer. This option is available in the host controls by clicking Participants, then More. This feature requires the desktop client 5.1.0 for the participants you are unmuting, as well as the host. If participants are on the Zoom client 5.0.5 or earlier, they will stay muted and not be prompted to unmute.

New and enhanced features

  • Webinar features
    • Option to delete questionsThe host or panelists can now choose to delete questions submitted through the Q&A during a webinar.
  • Phone features
    • Personal locations for nomadic emergency services
Users can define locations and specify an emergency address. The Zoom client will automatically save the IP address or wireless access point identifiers for the location. When a phone user places an emergency call from a defined location, the associated emergency address will be sent to emergency responders.
    • Reconnect option
Users will see a notification to manually reconnect to the Zoom Phone server if they disconnect.
    • Enhancements to hiding outbound caller ID
Users can also dial *67 before entering a phone number to hide their outbound caller ID. If users hide their caller ID, a disclaimer will warn them that it will not be effective in all countries or regions.
    • Display names for phone numbers
When selecting their outbound caller ID numbers, users can see display names set in the web portal. This makes it easier for users to identify numbers. The display name does not affect your caller ID.
